Blend Navidad
Christmas is just around the corner, and as every year at El Magnífico, we’re roasting our Christmas Blend again, a tradition we’ve maintained since we opened our shop on Argenteria Street in Barcelona in 1989.
This year, the blend is composed of two perfectly balanced origins: Nicaragua Montesol (Caturra variety, washed process) and Ethiopia Danisho (Heirloom variety, natural process).
The Nicaragua Montesol contributes a clean cup profile and a pronounced sweetness of caramel and brown sugar, with a creamy body and a subtle acidity that gives way to the Ethiopian coffee. This naturally processed coffee perfectly complements the Nicaraguan coffee in just the right proportion. The roasting process imparts notes of dried fruit, enhances the creamy body, and adds a touch of vinosity to the overall acidity. The roast is omni-roast, designed to ensure a great cup whether brewed with espresso or filter methods.
The result is an elegant and balanced blend, in which both origins are clearly expressed and harmoniously present. A coffee, as always, created to accompany after-dinner conversation: versatile, balanced, and made for sharing.
