The ideal grind depends not only on the brewing method but also on the coffee. Here are some approximate points recommended by the manufacturer.

Start by setting your grinder to point 0, which is with the grinder closed.

To check this, hold the grinder horizontally. When the burrs are open, the handle will rotate and drop to the 6 o’clock position. As you gradually close the burrs, you tighten the grinding points. Zero is the first available setting, the tightest, where the handle no longer drops (from 9 o’clock, for example). The burrs hold the handle in place (if you tighten it further, it will click to -1, -2, etc., so to speak, but you don’t need to use force). The opening of the burrs and the number of clicks to set the grind are always counted from point zero.

And these are the clicks:
– 5–10 Clicks for Ibrik.
– 10–15 Clicks for Espresso.
– 15–20 Clicks Moka or Italian..
– 22–32 Clicks filtered coffee, V60, Chemex, Kalita, Moccamaster etc.
– 25–30 Clicks cupping and French press.
– 30–35 Clicks pot coffee
– Aeropress – Depends on your recipe
