This commitment to training is led by Salvador Sans, founder of Cafés El Magnífico, who has extensive experience and an international track record. His direct involvement sets the tone and reinforces a corporate culture based on curiosity, rigour and professional excellence.

Similarly, Clàudia Sans heads the quality control department, which involves continuous training. She is a regular participant in competitions and tastings, as evidenced by her attendance as a judge at the COE Honduras and COE El Salvador in 2025.

Continuing education allows the team to delve deeper into key areas such as roasting, coffee preparation, milk science, sensory analysis and quality control. Part of the Cafés El Magnífico team has also participated in some of the most prestigious competitions in the world of specialty coffee, such as the Cup of Excellence (COE). This international competition, organised by the Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE), has been identifying and rewarding the best coffees from each country since 1999, guaranteeing traceability, excellence and a positive impact for producers. The experience as assistants and judges in different editions of the COE is a source of professional recognition and invaluable learning.
